North Carolina sued the Koch brothers for sending out robocalls to NC Democrats telling them to GOTV (the day after the election). The law is specific as it points out that anyone who hinders a free and fair election is committing a felony.

I'm sure at least 40 of our states have similar laws. I wish it would cover suppression and gerrymandering though. It's probably up to interpretation.

If someone has voted an absentee ballot and then shows up to vote in person, the check-in system will alert the poll worker that the person has already voted.

I was in the voter protection war room and an election judge called me and asked if trying to vote twice was against the law. A trump supporter insisted that he had the right to vote twice. We had a room full of lawyers and fed the election judge with the provision of the Texas Election Code that made it a crime to vote twice. A man in Texas who voted twice. Phillip Cook was arrested on Election Day after voting twice. He claimed to be an employee of Trump's campaign who was testing the security of the electoral system. He wasn't an employee of the campaign — and the polling location's security worked perfectly well, it seems.

BTW, his second vote was not registered. The mere attempt to vote twice was a crime

The outer envelope on a mail in ballot is your signature in the poll book....

If your mail in was tabulated or accepted before you showed up at a polling place then you have already visited to vote and the poll book will reflect that and you won't be given a ballot at the polling place. The poll book will show you voted absentee or mail in.

If you vote at a polling place before your mail ballot shows up the poll book will show you have done so and the outer envelope of mail ballot won't be able to "sign" the poll book and will be disallowed.

Really shows they don't understand the audit trails built into the system.

The poll workers are going to have an up to date list of the mail in ballots submitted? HOW up to date? It can't be instantaneous, so I trumper can drop their ballot in the mail, and immediately go vote at the polls.

I would imagine the match would be DAYS out of date.

I know it could never happen, but the easiest solution is taken the total # of votes for the turd, and divide them in half. Biden voters aren't going to be voting twice, so full count for Biden.

Or Congress could make sure that, due to Putin's turd and Putin's AG stooge Barr, EVERYONE knows that NO TOTALS will be released for a week so that ALL mail in ballots can be logged in and compared to voter polls. Any name that shows up on a voter poll has the mail in ballot tossed in the trash. Time consuming, while the turd is screaming non-stop RIG, RIG, RIG, but it would be reasonably accurate.

China or Russia can make up millions of fake ballots and mail them in. We do not have one uniform National ballot for President. There are thousands. of different ballots made up for state, local and federal elections. Different size ballots, different paper etc. Trump's claim of fake ballots is simply bullshit and should be called out.

Doing a legitimate/legal re-count, checking the vote, when the US Supreme Court illegally intervened and made them stop???????

I remember that several major universities studied the Florida voting and votes and concluded that had the re-count been done, that Gore would have won the election.
