The 86-year-old justice spoke about many things, including being the second female associate justice of the Supreme Court.
In one moment, she shared her memories about receiving the phone call from President Bill Clinton on a Sunday night informing her that she would be nominated to the nations highest court.
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) Thousands of Arkansans spent their afternoon Tuesday at Verizon Arena waiting for the Honorable Ruth Bader Ginsburg to take the stage.
This is part of the Clinton Foundation Lecture Series, and when it was announced that Justice Ginsburg would be coming to Little Rock to speak. over 12,000 people RSVP'd in less than 24 hours. Most of those people landed on a waiting list.
The foundation then decided to move the event to Verizon Arena instead of the Clinton Library.
Ginsburg is the second female Supreme Court Justice and has remained an advocate for women's rights. She was the first female member of the Harvard Law Review and graduated first in her class at Columbia Law in 1959.
