NBC News' Shannon Pettypiece reports on the demand from Republican senators to have a commision audit the results of the 2020 election despite no evidence of fraud otherwise they will object to the Electoral College votes that declared President-elect Joe Biden the winner.

A 10 day audit would bring us to Jan 16, just 4 days before Biden's inauguration. By the time people for the audit were chosen and got to work, it could well go past the inauguration date.

Biden would still be inaugurated, but this "audit" would be an ongoing challenge to his legitimacy for magats to rally around, with violence.

Just like the court cases and recounts, this "audit" could drag on forever.

The general public -- the majority who elected Biden -- would protest strenuously. Trumpists would would counter protest, violently.

We should and will, I hope, call their bluff and proceed with Congressional certification of Biden.

6. I'm kinda of confused the elections were held in the states in accordance to the constitution

the states are granted the right to conduct the elections and the election of Presidential electors. The Senates only role is to approve the results of those states elections.

Maybe dumping the electoral college. Are they going to demand id, will this be government id's so you can show your papers.
