Richard is a City of San Diego sanitation worker whose route includes Mitt Romney's $12 million oceanfront villa in La Jolla, Calif. This is his story.

Think of all the services the various governments provide, then think of what the Republicans want to do to them. And the effect that will have on this country when they can no longer provide those services. Privatize? How will that help anything for the average citizen?

Single Payer, Universal Health care needs to be on the list of government provided services. Our health care is mostly privatized right now. How is that working our for us, huh?

This video is reportedly the first in a series of interviews with real workers, meant to be “part campaign attack, part online testimonial, part survey tool and part recruiting tool.”

If it wasn't for the job creators creating so much more trash than poor people, this guy would have to get a real job, like stealing pensions from widows and orphans, or selling out his country for profit or sending the money he steals off shore to avoid paying the taxes that are already less than they guy who picks up his trash.

Union highlights Romney trash man--Obama up 49-47 in new poll--Inside debate prep--Aurora victim stars in gun ad--DCCC ad ties Buerkle to Romney

EXCLUSIVE – AFSCME TRACKS DOWN ROMNEY’S GARBAGE MAN: The public service union features Richard Hayes, whose route includes Romney's ocean-front mansion in La Jolla, Calif., in a new video that highlights the 47% comment. “We’re kind of like the invisible people. He doesn’t realize that the service we provide: if it wasn’t for us, it would be a big health issue, us not picking up trash,” Hayes says. “Picking up 15, 16 tons by hand, you know that takes a toll on your body. When I’m 55, 60 years old, I know my body’s gonna be break down [sic]. Mitt Romney doesn’t care about that.” This is the first in a series of videos intended to be part campaign attack, part online testimonial, part survey tool and part recruiting tool. There’s footage in in the 60-second video of Hayes picking up trash from in front of the Romney home.
