We need to submit the articles of impeachment to the Senate early this week. Force McConnell to make a decision. An impeachment trial takes a few days. We can hold Trump accountable and pursue our agenda.

Pelosi and others are discussing whether to wait 100 days to pass it to the Senate for trial.

when Schumer is majority leader or he can not do a trial and take a vote if he wants. So if nothing is going to be done until then anyway why take the chance on McConnell screwing this up.

this is too serious for McConnell to screw it up and I think he has to have a trial. I'm mainly concerned about waiting 100 days. By then people will have moved on and we won't see any justice, except possibly through the DOJ.

8. You are not going to get him out by impeachment before Biden takes office on the 20th

you are dreaming if you think anything is going to happen before then. Mitch needs 100% consent from the senate to come back before then, that is not going to happen. Let Biden get his cabinet in place, get relief for covid, get the vaccine distribution in place and a few other requirements. Then Schumer can make the senate stay instead of anymore breaks to deal with impeachment.
