and we all know he doesn't. Trump took him on mostly because Pence is a sycophant not because he has any Jodie or inner strength.

And, even then, all he did was talk about and quote Trump. When he's been impersonated on SNL, I don't think they give the actor who plays him any lines...

And for those who insist he listens to his wife, I remember reading early on that she does not like Trump. It's hard to believe he once had a radio show, when we see him along with Trump, he rarely says a word. And when he was impersonated on SNL, it was not a speaking role.

Pence might be merely one of the more obvious casualties of what aligning with a demagogue brings... disliked and distrusted at best by political opponents, utterly hated and threatened with death by political followers.

He has nowhere to go but home.
