And we know that they've lied about everything since the beginning - want to take credit for things they haven't done. We will eventually get to the bottom of all this, meanwhile people continue to get sick and many more are dying.

7. Sorry, But No

The "reserve" never existed. They lied about the existence of those doses.
The total in circulation right now is within 2% of what Pfizer & Moderna forecasted for mid-January.
They're just now getting to 48% of total projected throughput.
The didn't sell any off, because it didn't exist.
They fooled a lot of people with that promise.
But, most of the manufacturer forecast statements were public, and I have modest inside information about scale-up progress. It was easy to see that the "release the reserve" statements were lies. There was no reserve.
The professionals running the process never overestimated their production capability.
Eventually, both companies project more than 3 million doses a day. (There are, of course, other countries needing it.)
Frankly, the fact that they are closing in on a 10 day average of a million doses a day is incredible in a matter of 6 to 8 weeks.
