I did a lot of roller blading in the 1990s and early 2000s. It really is great exercise and it was my favorite thing to do on weekends.

My stepson broke an ankle playing roller hockey though.

(53,835 posts)6. I used to skate too back in the day. It's fun. I didn't notice...
any in-line skates in the video. They made inroads into skating in the '90s but they're a different animal compared to the tandem skates. Maneuvering, dancing etc. seem to be more accessible on tandem skates.

skates are more stable for most people than rollerblades. Keep on skating!
