1. Putting the Words "Republican" and "Accountability" Together Seems Like One Big Oxymoron These Days.

But, the ironic and true thing is that basically, accountability and responsibility are core conservative principles. That Evil Political Genius (i.e. demagogue) Trump has stirred up and unleashed terrible, ugly forces within this country and millions are maddened by the addictive political drug of Trumpism. These ambitious politicians who are so reluctant and unwilling to denounce the Big Lie are like hungry pigs feeding at the trough of Trumpism to try and get whatever they can of Trump's fanatically devoted following - moral principles and the country be damned. We may well be witnessing the decline and fall of the American Empire, with Trumpism being like a big ugly cancer or opportunistic infection on the body politic.
