The Speaker of the House was targeted for “a bullet through the noggin” as some *hole put it. AOC’s name was shouted and snarled a thousand times so the rioters would be sure to know who to aim their rage at.

I think if I’d had a mob pounding on my door screaming “where is she?” I might take it a bit personally myself.

It was terrorism, and the Democrats and all their staffs were terrorized. Each experienced it in their own way — nobody’s experience belittles another’s.

AOC just unloaded, and no doubt spoke for a lot of people.

There’s a photo from the Gallery of one of our male Representatives standing next to & apparently taking care of a female Representative who was prostrate. Can’t remember their names, only that the photo caption said he is a veteran and was able to supplement instructions for using gas masks, and that he was taking care of her. Was she feeling chest pains? Hyperventilating? Passing out? No one ever said.

How many people caught up in that insanity experienced it as a massive trigger of past trauma? We’ll never know. Jackie Speier is a survivor of a cult mass-murder, left for dead with 5 bullets in her. Diane Feinstein rose to the mayoralty of her city when her colleagues were murdered in the offices next to hers. Tammy Duckworth and all the other combat veterans? You bet. Assault survivors? Oh yes. Turns out AOC — bubbly, fiery, effervescent AOC — is an assault survivor herself.

The cop who came to AOC’s office to order her to evacuate pounded on her door, never identified himself as a cop, yelled at her to get out, displayed great anger at her, ordered her to another building (where Katie Porter’s office is) ...
