I've had two Vipers over the years, both built at the CAAP. many wonderful and unique cars have been built in that plant over the years. Vipers, Prowlers, Hemi/SRT Challengers... IMO, the Vipers were the best by far. That was a plant for motorheads, similar to GM's Bowling Green plant.

I sold it several years ago, as I felt it deserved a better fate than being coated with Cosmoline, covered with a military surplus tarp, and residing in the rafters of my garage.

In a wreck the price of one of those was over $17k, with them out of production, I'm sure it's gone up.

We'll see electric performance cars in the future with similar names and styling, I would guess.

Sub-2 second 0-60 is a lot of performance, especially in relative silence.

I am also seeing the rise of custom shops creating kits to convert classics. I was looking at a Ferrari conversion, and the EV performance seriously upgraded the original specs.
