SERIOUSLY
And especially in situations like this. AND the people keep voting for them, and keep believing everything they say, even when they are being screwed royal by them..........
It defies logic or reason at any level.............

If Christ ever did come back, Bible-thumping Republicans would have the most to worry about I think.

(14,576 posts)policies.
Policies AFFECT us, and the policy of deregulation of power utilities because 'they don't want no gummint' in Texas is a singularly bad one.
The private sector cannot and will not uphold the public good - things like power, water, policing, fire fighting, and K-12. It just won't. This is why we have taxes, government, and regulation.
And this is why the Democrats need to do DEEP canvassing to educate low-information voters.
We also need to be suggesting a new Fairness Doctrine to our members of Congress, and the Biden Administration. Obama has hit the nail on the head several times when he's said that not all Americans are operating with the same set of facts.
THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.

(11,563 posts)Seems par for the course, though. Patrick was the lowlife that sad older people should be happy to sacrifice their lives so the economy wouldn't take as drastic a hit.
He should have been flayed alive on TV for that.

(44 posts)When you talk too much. Republicans have no forsight, no self control or self awareness. Blah blah blah. That is all that comes out of their empty heads. Constantly.
