I can't help thinking of the Democratic candidates who we suspect "lost" their races under suspicious circumstances - Stacey Abrams in the Georgia governor's race and it made no sense that Jaime Harrison lost to Lindsey Graham! Yet they both have emerged as leaders in the party and are doing excellent work! Plus, we're still hearing from Beto O'Rourke who has stepped up to the plate in Texas, once again! All three aren't just working at a state level now, but have achieved national prominence - and they've just begun!

6. HR1 and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act/S1 MUST be the next big Bill that Dems push through

after the Covid Relief Bill, ahead of Infrastructure, Immigration etc. Otherwise you would be taking a massive gamble that Democrats will still control (especially) the Senate in a year's time. The Pat Leahy health scare should concentrate minds.
