It wasn't one of the funniest ones, but it was pertinent one.
He covers very important stuff most of the time in fact, stuff the the M$M won't touch.

(206,084 posts)But, as usual, he did a thorough and comprehensive report. Too bad that the news shows don't show clips, but they generally do that with the funny late night ones.

Jon Stewart. Dave Chappelle. Michael Che. - while labeled as "comedy", we somehow always get the gist when looking at an issue from the dark side of the moon.

(866 posts)When extra unemployment insurance was $600 a week last year, caretakers for disabled quit. Many workers got way more than they were making. Now, as day programs are struggling to reopen, it is very difficult to get workers. Schools and communities are struggling to find bus drivers. I am not saying that people should be forced to work, Im saying that we need to pay them. We need to focus of the supports: childcare, a livable minimum wage, transportation. If we want less unemployment, we need to pay people.
