House Judiciary Committee Meeting on Congress's Ability to Hold Member's Accountable

Live Now. Jim Jordan just threw a temper tantrum. The core of this meeting is Zoe Lofgren's 2,000-page report about how House Republicans encouraged sedition on social media.

This is the first step to holding seditious Republicans accountable.

It's very frustrating when Republicans do this. I did a full in-depth analysis on why previous election objections by Democrats were constitutional and why Republican's 2021 objections were not. I broke down every objection bt each member from each year, the motivation behind it, and whether it was a legitimate objection.

(It actually took me a long time to write this article, because I watched soooo much video and had to look up laws and statutes.)

The summary of it: Democrats objected to electoral votes when Republicans cheated. Republicans objected to electoral votes because they were cheating.

What Republicans are loath to face is that there is a solid (if rare) history of censuring and/or expelling misbehaving members. They just know what side they're on this time, and unlike the (false) equivalence between Dan Crane and Gerry Studds, there is no chance of finding a Democrat who has done anything to take the spotlight off their own egregious behavior.

Qbert will be replaced by a Democrat who will then have to face a special election. Brooks and Gosar will be replaced by GOPs who will likely win their elections. Sad to say, the GOP has nothing to risk but embarrassment. They'll still whine nonstop about how they're being picked on, typical bully move.
