R.I.P. Mr. Kotto. He made it in a field not exactly welcoming to him. brush Mar 2021 #2

What a wonderful actor! And he got to deliver one of the best movie lines ever in The Running Man, "I don't want to be the only asshole in heaven."

RIP, Mr. Kotto.

I hadn't heard his name mentioned in a long time but then I also didn't realize he was 81, which obviously would make sense considering when he was prominently featured in a number of films and TV shows. I remember him in "Raid on Entebbe" and in "Alien" and in his multiple character actor/guest-star roles during the '70s/'80s.

R.I.P. and thank you for your uniquely intense acting style.

And part of that, was definitely Kotto's hearty portrayal of the duplicitous yet clownish Idi Amin.

Reminds me of someone...

and a "much watch" TV event, especially because the incident was still fresh in people's minds.
