but to think Asian-Americans are somehow responsible for the Corona virus is a level of ignorance I've never encountered before. I guess this can be entirely blamed on Drumpf and his incessant racism. He was the spark, for sure, but there certainly is a plethora of ignorant tinder within white America to bring this to such a flashpoint. I really don't understand the thinking (or lack thereof) of people who do this.

Decades ago Americans had to travel to other countries to be called, "ugly Americans", because of their undeserved opinion that no other country (and it's people) could possibly measure up to the United States, and everyone else was inferior. That's no longer the case, though. We don't have to travel more than 50 feet down the street to see America's ugliness on full display now. It's sad, and these people are getting more "in your face" about their ignorance and racism. And that's supposed to make them feel superior to everyone else? It's no wonder we're probably the most hated country in the world. Lately, there have been so many instances when I'm totally ashamed to call myself an American.
