to be asking these questions during a Pandemic and a Gun Violence Crisis. Unidentified means just that. Its more than likely a flying goose; or a smudge on the camera. Its not aliens under they land and shake your hand.

(5,528 posts)I'm a retired engineer and I want to know what these objects are. If it's detected on radar, it's a real object, not a reflection etc.

(982 posts)I see a trend on FOX "news" reporting toward distraction and misdirection. Potato head, Dr.Seuss, and now flying saucers (barf). What else can we talk about so our audience doesn't know about or see the good things the democrats are doing!?

(821 posts)1. The vast majority of UFOs are normal things in the sky that are misidentified.
2. The vast majority of the remainder are unusual but natural phenomena, or normal things seen under unusual conditions.
3. The vast majority of those not explained by 1 or 2 are usually lacking in enough information to evaluate properly.
4. The few not explained in 1-3 are interesting. They are most probably natural but rare phenomena, or possibly secret military craft. The least likely explanation is alien visitation. Even a secret society of techology-bearing Bigfoots (feet?) building these things is more likely than aliens.
