1. K&R! Well, I wouldn't recommend a bar or a plane ride, but this is really cute

A year is a really long time to have kept this up, and though I don't plan to change much at this point, I get shot #2 on Sunday - and I totally identify with suddenly losing the long-held fear of dying from this virus.

2. It really made me smile

Good luck with shot #2 on Sunday! I had my second shot last Thursday. I feel relief and hopeful for a gradual return to "normal" life.

3. It was such a relief to suddenly have them available somewhere near me!

I had figured it would be months till I was eligible, the only ones I knew who had gotten them worked in the ER or had to drive clear across the state! But suddenly the governor has lowered the age requirement and not only are pharmacies offering them (I did get mine at CVS ), but there's a county site opening nearby and the town is offering appointments in the former Sears store at the local mall. There is light at the end of this long tunnel!
