His comments related to the rigor of testing - 44, 000 and 33,000 subjects in two of the trials - is something that needs to be said to anti-vaxxers. Maybe not large enough to account for a 1/1m side effect, but large enough to show efficacy and safety.

His other comment around vaccine hesitancy is useful too. If there were large safety issues with the vaccines, these would have played out with over half the population vaccinated. I'm not sure what else you need to hear about getting vaccinated.

And I believe the data already shows this (it did in Michigan earlier this month) but most of the surge states are seeing is coming from those people who aren't yet vaccinated.

If you know someone who is hesitant or outright rejects getting a vaccine, this is a good place to start educating them.

Carlson knows that you wear a mask primarily to protect others, not yourself.

He knows that CDC advice to continue wearing a mask even after receiving the vaccine is because you could still be asymptomatic and spread the virus.

Carlson is deliberately lying to his brain-soft audience to garner points from them and, of course, money from Murdoch. He is the very epitome of disgraceful. Even a family that made its fortune selling mediocre TV dinners deserves a better public face.

The FCC must take up the cause of truth, honesty, and public health and either use its power and authority to get lying accessories to plague like Carlson off cable TV -- or to petition Congress for a law permitting it to do so.
