And I agree, he really is one of the very best we have - smart, knowledgeable and compassionate.

damn. it's dusty in here.
i havent had many outside jobs for money, but many as a volunteer.
mostly i quit them, cuz i'm good at moving on when shit gets stickier than is worth the time.
only been fired a couple times.
before this plague, i was a hospice volunteer. i was locked out.
it was the most painful separation of my working life. watching it unfold, knowing i had the skills to help, and not even being able to drop by my old ward w/o a big security dance.
it's been like a 5 lb stone in my heart.

the ripples of this pain are gonna keep lappin up on ppl's shore for a generation.
