Todd's not been politically meticulous, imo. More like injudicious to the point of clueless.

He's also wrong about conservatism being coopted.

Conservatism can't be coopted when it literally was invented (austerity economics of the neoliberal Austrian Mont Pelerin Society back in the day) by corporate dark money donors who are defining trumpcult's autocratic world, and their 'selling' their plans, at statehouse levels, to end democracy by ending democratic processes. Their congressional proxies are outing themselves as Trump's bagmen. Their private ninjas are insurging on the public's voting process.

He's finally recognizing a dictatorship party.

And yeah, it's a big ol' man's club and Liz ain't in it.
