i was on a parent involvement and education committee.
we did good work, but it was pulling teeth to get the building open.
the janitors had a veto, and they used it.

w my kids homework was a nightmare. i didnt have the books. i didnt have the assignments.
i begged them to set up homework help after school.
but they all wanted to get out of there.
