Sen. Warren Reacts To GOP Infrastructure Counteroffer - MSNBC

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) joined Stephanie Ruhle to react live to Senate Republicans' $928 billion infrastructure counterproposal just released this morning. She also discusses her wealth tax proposal, hyper-partisanship in Congress, and the prospects of passing legislation creating a Jan. 6 commission in the Senate.

Ruhle interrupted far too often, usually just as Warren was about to make her final point.
Ruhle doesn't appear able to listen, which is why I don't watch her show.

Warren is a National Living Treasure!

was ages ago, when welfare to work was a big thing (and when I still bothered talking to such creatures). He was utterly, absolutely blind to the fact that women, the majority he wanted to see working instead of "loafing on the dole," were not working mostly because of child care issues. Did he think kids could be tied up and stuffed in a closet while Mom was working?

It all eventually came down to his pontificating that women who can't afford first class child care should never have children, to which I said they could afford great childcare until the husband followed his dick out of the marriage. "Well, she should have thought of that."

That's really how these guys think. It's women's work, our job, the only responsibility they have ended at conception.

This is what we--and Warren--are up against.
