1. If you're gonna use gas, why not fentanyl gas like the Russians did in that theater

invasion?

Also pretty sure gas chambers for executions using hydrogen cyanide have been used in many countries before, including the USA.

What made it Nazi-style is that people were executed in mass gas chambers without trials or even crimes (other than being who they naturally are).

I don't believe that's the idea in Arizona, so this is all a bit hyperbolic.

2. I live in Arizona and I'm Jewish. Gas Chambers are hideous.

Trial or no trial. . .capital punishment is hideous.

So because we give a trial that is always titled towards the state due to the state's limitless finances, gas chambers are acceptable?

The state should not have the power to take away what it cannot give back.

3. Oh, I'm not saying I'm a death penalty fan, I'm not

But if you ARE going to use capital punishment, using a gas chamber w/hydrogen cyanide is a particularly disgusting means because it's horribly painful. Hell carbon monoxide would be far more humane and less dangerous to bystanders.

But like I said, why not fentanyl gas? You basically give someone an opioid overdose, much like when we humanely put both my dad and grandfather out of their considerable misery in the hospital. They passed quite peacefully.

I'm only saying that using hydrogen cyanide for executions is historically far more widespread than just the Nazi's, including having been used in the USA. And people who died in the Holocaust didn't even get trials and were murdered in mass executions just for being Jewish, or disabled, or special needs, or gay, that kind of thing. So I just think calling it 'Nazi-style execution' solely based on the chemical used is a little bit over the top.

Just MHO, and YMMV, as it apparently does.
