Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, joined MSNBC's The Rachel Maddow Show to discuss new reporting that the Department of Justice inappropriately targeted individuals associated with the House Intelligence Committee, in an investigation that is now closed, but exemplifies Trump’s repeated and flagrant demands that the DOJ act as a cudgel against his political opponents and members of the media. Schiff called for the Inspector General to investigate this and other cases that suggest the weaponization of law enforcement by a corrupt president.
