(19,201 posts)they were going to get a straight, truthful answer from an actual killer? Prisons are full of people who are completely innocent. Its a silly game to Putin. He laughs because he has actually killed, or ordered to be killed, so many people he's lost track of the number.

(16,246 posts)It is to our peril. Just recent news of his opposition and treatment says it all. Again.

(2,574 posts)necessary discussions and instead focus on what is true.
Someone on another thread mentioned that a talker at CNN is disappointed there isn't enough drama without trump, I guess Ari is goig to create some.

(205,467 posts)But I have to agree, I also cringed at that question. I'm not saying Putin would have answered any questions candidly, but I don't think this question moved the conversation forward.

(2,574 posts)I have tried listening to both radio and tv so called liberal talkers, . . . I don't follow any of them, have never been able to listen to an entire show by any of them because they are simplified and primarily like cheerleaders or ?
I would like something to replace NPR which has been entirely taken over by conservatives which means, we need one place where we can get straight news in a neutral voice.

(205,467 posts)Many of whom have experience in government and law. I agree that they mostly come from a liberal perspective, but so do I and I believe that they're reporting facts, not intentionally lying to me. I gave up on CNN long ago when they cut off John Kerry speaking live to present "the other side." Though I do think that Don Lemon and Anderson Cooper generally do a good job.
And I added more of the interview to the OP, the part that was broadcast on NBC News. They said the entire interview will air on The Today Show which doesn't make sense to me because it's news/entertainment, not a straight news show.
