1. If I understand correctly, Biden is pushing back on the investigation Schiff wants the DOJ to do?

If that is so, why is Biden doing that? Does he think that by doing that he is going to get some support from republicans on passing some of the bills he wants to pass?

It is a waste of time, republicans are bullies and they must be treated as such, bullies only take, they don't give unless they are confronted with force, it is a well known fact that bullies are cowards, they don't react well when they are confronted, that is when their weakness comes up and they become disarmed.

My take is that Biden needs to hit republicans hard, I think if they feel they are in jeopardy of being found out about all the corruption from the last four years, that they will become subdued and comply with passing bills that benefit the country.
