Supreme Court to rule on Arizona election laws - CBS News



The Supreme Court is expected to rule soon on whether Arizona election laws violate the Voting Rights Act. Aziz Huq, a professor of law at the University of Chicago, joins CBSN's Tanya Rivero on "Red & Blue" with more.

Funny thing is, they find huge evidence that no one will believe, or they find nothing and they admit the they cost the AZ taxpayers millions in their folly.

And the crazy ideas that these ninjas have come up with are beyond ridiculous - not to mention, as you said, a tremendous waste of resources. The election was certified over six months ago, and, as has been said, numerous other candidates/offices were on the same ballot. Why aren't they questioning those as well??

(Other than being from the same state of course).

SCOTUS is considering the 9th circuit's ruling that elections laws that have a disparate impact (but not necessarily intent) based on race can be overturned.

The ruling has the potential to kneecap many (if not all) of the lawsuits against new elections laws (as in GA).
