So, I'm sure he gained points with the troglodytes by implicitly attacking it.

Somehow all of the evils of the world are connected to the Clinton Foundation and George Soros - despite that the far right couldn't name one thing that they actually do. I'm guessing this is the work of Alex Jones.

He seems to be avoiding talking about his views, while at the same time planning to mount an attack on reproductive rights in VA once he's governor.

You can listen to what he said here: https://wamu.org/story/21/07/12/va-governor-candidate-republican-glenn-youngkin-abortion/

…test the effectiveness of the “Critical Race Theory” boogaloo for the 2024 general election. If he just does well with that, expect a torrent of it in 2024 across all elections.

No Republican has much of a chance as the Democrats have governed Virginia fairly well for the past 8-years, and the D running this year is the same guy who did well in the first 4 of those 8-years.

The only good thing you can say about Youngkin is that he is not as racist (or at all) as previous Virginia R candidates have been.

would choose to run as a Trumpublican for any office.

There is only one qualification for running with TFG's blessing: absolute, undying fealty to TFG.

I really really really wish when this happens, and it happens a lot from Republicans too afraid to face facts in a debate, that they would carry on with the debate, rain or shine, and put up a cardboard cutout of the wimp who won't show up.

I can just see it..."Mr. Youngkin, what is your response to ...........nothing?.......you don't have an answer for that?...okay lets move on...."

I think that would work great.
1. It would allow the Democrat to get all their points across without interruption. And even more would watch out of curiosity.
2. It would cement that a Democrat is willing to debate but a Republican is not.
3. It would infuriate his supporters, and they would have no one to blame but their candidate.
4. It may even change a few minds if it was made into a spectacle like that as opposed to just a blip on the news.

But Democrats don't stir up dust, they just end up spending a lot of time sweeping it up.
