It still doesn't mean that the scientist were right. The answer is to continue the party until the roof falls in then blame it on nature. It is very similar to the right's answer to gun violence is to arm more people. Alice in Wonderland solutions to real world problems.

While there has simultaneously been a megadrought out West and record breaking 100 degree plus temperatures in the Pacific Northwest. After spending a couple of months with dismal grey skies and rain each and every day, a lot of it torrential, boy, would I ever love some of that megadrought and clear skies - man, I just wanna get out in the middle of the Sonora Desert in southern Arizona and just have an epic SWEAT! The temperature here in central Mexico has seldom gotten over 70 for the past two months of this dismal rainy season weather. My friend Juan down here in Guanajuato tells me that, for the past two years, there was absolutely NO rain in the rainy season - and now, they're making up for it, big time. The gods of Climate Change apparently took all the rain that was headed for up there in the western US and sent it down here to central Mexico!

into where a lake used to be to get the point across that there's not much water left for anything.

Now all he has to do is tackle the almond growers. Almond trees suck up water like big sponges and they don't belong in the semi arid west. Farmers need to be persuaded to turn to other crops.
