2. As head impeachment manager, he certainly has the background and knowledge.

I'm also grateful not just that he's on the committee, and that he's speaking out ahead of time, gives us confidence that they'll be very thorough. Speaker Pelosi made very wise choices for those who will conduct this important investigation.

3. Patriots at all levels need to stay vigilant. Republicans are

cornered and desperate and losing ground. They will sabotage anywhere they can and there is no constraints in how far they can go. The recent spectacle of senior Republican leadership at the border and a constant drumbeat of “open borders” is part of a focused effort to paint Democrats as forever “weak” at protecting the country. This false narrative can be used in different scenarios by Republicans as they take advantage of planned and unplanned situations.

The Republican leadership has proven again and again that they're willing to do anything they can to obstruct an investigation into the insurrection. The committee needs to determine their culpability and the reasons behind the constant lies.

I’m concerned about others. The closer we get to the truth, the more they need to be watched. They won’t go down without a fight.

6. Same here. Since this pandemic, I try to run any truly necessary errands I have all on the same day

So I only go out once. And even though New York lifted the mask mandate (masks were required to enter ny and all businesses and it was enforced) at the beginning of the month, I still wear mine. What's ridiculous is that it's now "tourist season" in my neck-of-the-woods (Lake George) so I'm seeing license plates from other states throughout the country. *sigh*

And I agree that those who are culpable are getting desperate. It's obvious in the ridiculous claims they're making and their desperate efforts to obstruct the upcoming investigation - and they're getting more desperate by the day. I commend Speaker Pelosi for her perseverance and for continuing doing what needs to be done in spite all the attempted roadblocks that the Republicans (McCarthy) throw in her way.
