I did the work with combative covid positive psych patients who were so sick and scared they kicked our ass and tore off our PPE. It wasn't their fault and I actually saved lives. There was no vaccine. I got a high viral load of covid and am now out with long haul, a shadow of myself. So now because of Trump anti vaxxers we healthcare people are supposed to do this AGAIN? No, THEY have a lot of work to do on their own party. They are disabling and killing people in droves. The party of gun violence and covid, both of which I dealt with up close and personal. Republicans are the party of death, deceit and destruction.

My friend works in the local hospital ER with psych patients - and the PPE she has to wear leaves marks on her face long afterwards. She was also the first I knew to get the vaccine, though - along with others at the local hospital - she had to drive downstate to a major hospital to get the Pfizer back in January. But those willing to make the trip got a $100 bonus for their trouble.

And yet there are still health care workers at that local hospital unwilling to be vaccinated. I don't get it, they are treating Covid patients there.
