Nobody plays the pity card better than Mitt Romney. He recently told a crowd of supporters that his life would have been a lot easier if he were Latino, because then he could get all sorts of government handouts. (2 posts)Ye gods! When I listen to this all I can hear is 'you know' over and OVER again. I understand that it is the latest expression of what used to be 'Um., Uh' but they were never acceptable verbal ploys either. It would be very helpful if Stan (especially) thought through what she wanted to say and then said it. Papantonio is guilty, too, just not AS guilty. You know?
