(1,535 posts).....because he stuns them with things that they have never thought about and now they feel empowered with this new knowledge. The fact that he also seems to be one of the nicest guys you may have ever met certainly doesn't hurt either. Also, thanks for introducing me to "Big Think". Looked into it and have bookmarked for what I anticipate will be many hours of my time sucked yet again into the internet.

(111,352 posts)because he's resisted treatment for whatever condition is making him paranoid. Confronting delusional paranoiacs head on never works, you have to listen to them while you figure out how to work around it, important when you needed their cooperation in treating a medical problem.
Dumdum and all the evil shits who are propping him up are using this guy. He's going to end up with nothing, and he's still going to need help that he's too paranoid to get.
