Ty for posting, Rhiannon!

Ps - My guess is they will be available sooner, rather than later!

But those decisions are out of my hands, so if it's offered and recommended, I'll be right there with you!

It would seem to me the mllions of doses near expiration could be used somewhere!

And, while the WHO makes a valid point, Israel, Germany, & UK are or have plans to offer boosters very soon.

My issue with the WHO idea is that if I die or end up incapacitated with long haul, will the WHO pick up my extremely heavy family responsibilties? Of course they won't.

Bring on the booster shot!

Which of course will eventually spread everywhere, as it did in the beginning. So I'm certainly for eradicating it everywhere we can, and the difference is likely to be that they'll welcome a preventative - unlike the anti-vaxx idiots here! But they'll remain a big problem as long as they're allowed to continue to spread it right here at home. I'm all for mandates - as we have had with vaccines for other deadly diseases over the years - and I'll get any booster shot that's recommended like I did with the Shingrix and the Tetanus vaccines last year. I really don't know what the big fuss is about, we've all gotten vaccines all our lives to prevent deadly diseases that killed previous generations, like those for smallpox and polio.

I agree with all you've said.

I'll get one as soon as it's recommended as well.

I've read some foljs are going in & lying asking for 1st shot even though, in reality, they are already fully vaxed.

Or, in the case of sharing the planet with magats, Blunderland?

News today: Memphis ambulances so overloaded with calls, staff so burnt out, it's taking more than 1.5 hours for ambulances to get to homes and in excess of 24 hours for treatment / admissions! I am fking furious with these antu science assholes stressing our medical system!

MS is turning parking lot into overflow hospital.

For some deplorables' freedumb?

Ps - schools just started up this past Monday. Fun times.

And didn't we get vaccinations under a Republican president (Gerald Ford) during the Swine Flu epidemic? Not that I was all that focused on politics back then, but I don't remember any kind of fuss.

TFG has started and continued all the divisiveness in this country. And he's not any kind of politician or statesman. I never understood why anyone would think a failed game show host should be POTUS. At the time, I remember thinking that Alex Trebek would be much better, since he dealt with history and geography on a regular basis - but he was Canadian.

Yup. Vaccines have been the norm for decades.

The question in my mind is if / when these willfully anti vax scum will be refused treatment & the slob & ALL accomplices locked up.
