CNN's Don Lemon visits the hospital where he was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as the facility becomes fills up with Covid-19 patients who chose not to take the vaccine.

Lemon and hospital staff were very humane.

4. I didn't hear a whole lot of real ignorance there

just a lot of procrastination backed up with half truths from people around them.

The vaccine wasn't rushed. Dumdum wanted to roll it out before the election, but the vaccine makers tole him HELL no. It was thoroughly tested, instead. The problem were the media, screeching about extremely rare adverse events like allergy or even rarer blocd clots, just to be able to provide some news, any news. Unfortunately, this backed up the procrastination.

This bit is why I'm not blaming people who are getting sick because they are unvaccinated. In fact, I think this bit of reporting might go pretty far in lighting a fire under the rear ends of current procrastinators to get off the couch and get the shots.

8. I'll admit that the fact it was rushed made me think

Plus, it was made to sound like a Trump operation. If Trump's crew alone had recommended it, I would have had real doubts. I just figured if Fauci said it was okay, I'd be fine. I guess if I'd been less informed, I would have had reservations.

Of course, DU would have straightened me out.

10. This was the best reporting I've seen on why people hospitalized with Covid weren't vaccinated.

It didn't demonize them. It didn't make them sound like Qanon crazies. Reports like this are what can sway the still unvaccinated, and stop the demonization of people who made awful mistakes--mistakes that have hurt themselves and others--but who are not evil.

He was getting free air time from everybody, while nary a word Hillary spoke was heard, but CNN was one of the worst.

It didn't seem like any of the people he spoke with were on death's door; but the country needs to see more of that to drive the point home that everyone needs to be vaccinated.
