IF The images of people being brainwashed by media fear mongering over COVID weren’t a dead giveaway, perhaps the focus on isolation (I.e. lockdown/quarantine) as a form of mind control would have clued you in.

While I agree there are portions of the US population that have succumbed to mass psychosis, the framing in this video, nuanced as it is, is clearly against those who follow government and scientific leaders and recommendations.

It all seems so calm and logical, but it’s central purpose is to sow mistrust in “elite” institutions such as science and government, because these institutions are agents of totalitarianism.

Do some reading on the sponsor of this video, Academy of Ideas- they are a pro-corporate, libertarian think tank.

The After Skool site seems to be all about the hall-of-mirrors that is the human mind. Some of those mirrors seem quite dark.

And watching the video closely, it clearly seeks to plant the seed that, in order to keep one’s individual freedom, you should never trust the institutions of science and government.

While the narrator talks about brainwashing and fear, There are several scenes that show the hapless victims being scared and brainwashed by the elite power structure of media/science/government, showing images of tv screens with big COVID virus images on them…not a single mention of QAnon or the Big Lie that I recall.

To me, the agenda of the video is clear, and it doesn’t mesh with the progressive values of the DU community.
