1. Why can't the Army Corps of Engineers build some of those makeshift hospitals...

like they did in New York last year? Or send that hospital ship to the Gulf area?

2. I have heard that they've asked for the hospital ship that went to New York in the beginning

But I don't know if there's any progress. You're right, they need help ASAP. If anyone in that area has a stroke, heart attack or auto accident, they're in big trouble.

3. What healthcare system?

We don’t have a healthcare “system” in this country. To me, system implies a coordinated organization across the entire country including not just hospitals. We sure as hell don’t have that.
