The attacks by Democrats on President Joe Biden for the ugly Afghanistan exit are strategically foolish. Matthew Dowd hits the nail on the head.

Then they’d want to discuss strategy moving forward and make sure to get input from all sides before continuing.

Republicans would help them by screaming foul about the non existent breach and demanding a full mea culpa before continuing and adding a few other things for good measure. They would be singing the hymn in unison because they had already worked out the permutations of their argument beforehand.

What TFG added to their already impenetrable argument was never apologize, double down, and attack like a force field that doubles the strength of phaser attack as it reflects it back to the enemy.
