This guy does a great job of explaining it, and even tells an event where profits kept a disaster warning g from reaching a community.

Democrats have too long ignored the machinery that shaped, molded and created the Trump "base". On January 6th, 2021, it finally bit us, showing a repeat of how radio was the primary tool if control in nazi Germany.

I will be ecstatic if this administration finally gives the radio and television media back to it'a rightful owner, the public.

…and social media now have been used by bad actors to cause enormous damage to this country. There absolutely needs to be legislation aimed at enforcing reality based facts and truth in broadcasting. Someone like Tucker Carlson or Steve Bannon should not be able to propagate the disinformation and straight up lies like they do daily.

The MSM has failed badly in it job. It is not even media or press anymore as we used to think of it back in the era of Cronkite & Reasoner now it is profit based which has turned it into a 24hr jerry springer lite show that never ends. It should have never elevated DT to the extent it did. 30k plus lies and it broadcast every one with only token fact checking. It is as much a part of the problem as the gop is now.
