People worry about big-ticket items like helicopters and tanks, and that is what the media focuses on. However, those require specialized training, tools, and parts to operate and keep running. In addition, they can be demilitarized. Rifles are far more problematic, parts can be procured and they can remain in service for decades. Our sniper rifles are way better than what they normally have, and a single one in the wrong hands can wreak enormous havoc.
