The Religious Side of Texas, With Joy Reid and Frank Schaeffer

Embryos are big business. So are corporate campus believers.
For Rule of Men, not Law, political racists must suppress the Black vote;
for Christofascist rule of men, anti-women religions must keep women on the run.

The religious side of Texas is nothing personal. Just business.

Theocracy and business go hand in hand. Forbes is all in with its "Just" 100.

It's hard for me to wrap my head around the truly venal origins of this movement. So many bad people believing that they are good.

For anyone who imagines there were more 'good ol days' than bad ol' days.

This pathology has gripped the South since slave days. Slavery was how capitalism was built, particularly on the backs and from the loins of black women. After white men lost the civil war over slavery -- they literally thought they'd die without their 'peculiar institution' -- then the low pay of white women and children in the factories, then the servitude (gift economy lol) of home. Men were men and anyone else was nervous.
