I think this man is a Pollyanna, a goody two-shoes who is ignoring the reality of what's going on in his party and the country, and very naive to think any majority in his party will level the playing field. He also fails to see there are non-conservatives who don't enjoy the conservative Court, despite his contention that the "weight of reality" carries the day. But I give him props for trying hard to embrace the middle of the political spectrum with candor and respect.
