The Republican-controlled government in the state of Florida is still trying to hide the state's abysmal COVID death numbers from the public, and they have taken the truly disgusting step of not allowing residents to look up COVID numbers for their areas. This means that you can't access information about how bad the pandemic is in your area, which could be vital in making decisions about where to go and how best to protect yourself.
