Heck family and friends knew shithole was dangerous and crazy as hell. I truly believed his last resort was to over throw the government with the help of his fucked up cult, including but not limited to politicians, evangelist, etc.

Who orchestrated a violent attempt to overthrow the government! They did millions in damage to the Capitol, threatened, attacked, injured and killed those whose job it was to protect Congress - and yet they're planning a repeat performance?? Lock them up!

They thought all politicians would be patriotic, selfless, God-fearing souls. They sure didn't understand the "ME" generation, or the types of citizens that narcissism produces.

4. No, they did not.

They never could have envisioned "electing" an unqualified game show host back then. It was the best and the brightest who came together to form a government "by and for the people" back then. These days, we seem to have elected the worst of the worst in so many cases - those who have no idea of our history or what an oath to the Constitution means. "The people" are no longer their concern.
