(1,078 posts)The Trump org has a huge building. One of the tallest in Manhatten. Not to mention many other properties. And they can't find space for some simple storerooms? Yeah, right. Sounds like a whole lot of consciousness of guilt.

(32,639 posts)They've made a career of under-reporting their profits to the IRS in order to keep the tax bill as low as possible. But when they go to the bank to borrow money, they have to show they're making tons of money and they're a good loan risk. So the 2nd set of books is all rosy and happy face.
The bank doesn't get to see what the IRS sees, and vice versa.
They've been playing this game for years, and Michael Cohen says it started long before he worked for Chump. Probably Fred the dad started it back in the 1950's when he was a major contractor for the government. They have always been cheaters, and they've bought off politicians to stay out of trouble.
