Republican Operatives Charged With Funneling Foreign Money Into Trump's Campaign - The Ring of Fire

Indictments were unsealed this week against a pair of Republican operatives who have been charged with funneling money from a Russian national into the Trump campaign in 2016. The national, who was not named, gave $25,000 to the operatives, who then acted as "straw donors" by giving the money to the Trump campaign without revealing where it came from. Reports suggest that the campaign did NOT know that the money came from a Russian national.
