(17,984 posts)With Robert Costa. Woodward had been leaning right for years. Bernstein was praising the book on CNN. They really make a great team.
Bernstein has been exposing Trump for what he is for a long time.
This, along with the evidence they just exposed on the 6 step Coup attempt should finally bring this to a head.
Subpoenas from the House investigation this week will be revealing. The fact that Rudy and his gang knew all along they were lying is more proof.

(205,288 posts)I'm so glad to hear that Bernstein is on board now! That would certainly be a tragedy if they still had issues between them. Woodward and Bernstein were and still are the legendary team!
And anything that brings TFG closer to getting what he has deserved for decades (I have Mary Trump's book!) is fine with me!

Making fun of Trumps 100 Million dollars lawsuit. But I want to read Peril.

(205,288 posts)That book chronicles the history of her family - especially how her uncle turned out as he has. And I have to say that he was like he is now at an early age, bullied his younger brother and only got worse as he got older. The mother was partially responsible since she was absent early on due to illness, but the father turned his kids against each other and encouraged and rewarded Donald's worst behaviors and impulses. It was very well told and, of course, Mary Trump's a clinical psychologist.
I now have book #2 which I'm only about halfway through. A lot of the beginning is about the worst parts of our history - which have reappeared under the "leadership" of TFG and how his bigotry, prejudices and greed have unleashed this behavior among those who agree with and "follow" his example.
I recommend both of her books highly. And I'm now interested in "Peril" as well.
