Most Millionaires Worried About Leaving TOO MUCH Inheritance For Their Children - The Ring of Fire
A new poll has found that a large majority of millionaires are now worried about leaving TOO MUCH money for their children in their inheritance, a testament to how much money these people are currently hoarding. If they don't want to leave it all behind, they could be sending it out to charities or working to make the planet a better place, but instead they want to keep it hidden from the world until it is too late to actually do anything about anything.

1. I imagine a lot of us wish we had this problem, but the point I want to make here is that...
these people are probably right in not leaving so much to their children, or others within their families, for if one doesn't truly earn the money themselves, how do they really know the value of such money, of earning for themselves a living, learning the value of hard work, etc.?
I do know (very few people though) of some who do spend time w/ worthy causes, of donating to worthy causes, etc., However, I do feel Society as a whole probably knows best where to allocate such funds, where spending is critically needed, and I'd prefer that the un-elected millionaires and / or billionaires not dictate where spending should occur (when these people donate to their causes), such as the Heritage Foundation and other such foundations profess to be solely interested in 'conservative causes'. The likes of these people use their name tags as conservatives, a BS description of themselves, when in fact (IMHO), they want to suppress the vote, they want to roll back anything settled as law over the last 30 or more years, deeming such all things since then decided as unconstitutional, that nothing shall be decided since according to them, everything should be deemed strictly constitutional in nature in order to be decided, and/or law of the land. |

3. This can easily be fixed with a progressive inheritance tax
Top tax rate until 1976 was 77%, current rate is 45%

4. I believe that rather than leave it to anybody
they’d rather pack it up and take it with them to the glorious beyond. “ It’s mine, it’s mine, you can’t have it.”

5. Exactly
That is why they worry about leaving too much to their children - it all belongs to them and only them.
